Based on the original research and development of composite materials, Meron has developed a high performance fiber reinforced composite project which can be used to manufacture large aircraft, high-speed trains and automobile structures and interior accessories. In 2015, Jiangsu Meilong new materials Co., Ltd. was established, and Meilong new materials became a core member of the group.
In 2016, the company led "research and application project of light, fire-resistant and high performance composite materials" won the "winning award" of the first China military civilian dual-use technology innovation and application competition. The products developed by the project have light, fire-proof and enhanced characteristics, so it is widely used in the roof, top cover, trunk, air vent, etc Floor and other parts.
Based on the previous cooperation, in 2018, the company signed an agreement with the Institute of chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to jointly build the "light fire-resistant composite engineering technology research center", which was approved by Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center in the same year. The two sides have jointly promoted the development of light, flame retardant and new composite materials such as phenolic resin foam material and rare earth magnesium alloy, and made important progress. This cooperation is an important step to realize the company's industrialization goal in many fields such as aviation, military industry, rail transit, automobile and family life.
